Dear John,
Write they say! Just write. Write or it will all go to waste. Make time for it or it will never happen.
It's all true but I never can seem to make time for it or seem to have the time to do it after working all day. Excuses? Probably. But I'm allowed.
So I Googled 'I am a great writer' and that ended with me creating a blog on which to splash some ideas. A place where I edit my work and ignore any criticism I get. Although ironically I got this great piece of advice from my aforementioned Google search:
Good writers take time to write. They craft and re-craft a piece.
They spend hours and days, revising. They take criticism and feedback,
listening to both the external and internal voices that drive them.
And they use it all to make their writing better.
So the plan is to do random bits of writing whenever I get the opportunity, maybe short ten minute bursts, that way I don't have to spend ages thinking about what to write, might make it more creative or better. And anyone that reads this blog, your feedback and any comments are requested! So please do join in the discussion.
Regards
The Reluctant Writer
Ps. If you are wondering who John is, you are John.
